Mark your calendar and invite your friends to the 2020 Superfluity Collectibles, Plant and Rummage Sale on April 2-4 in Ostrander Hall.
We need YOU and your good “stuff”!
Superfluity provides all of us with an opportunity to help others. All proceeds benefit local charities, including University District Youth Center, New Beginnings for Battered Women, Teen Feed, University Churches Emergency Fund and three pre-school educational/day care programs.
Here are some ways you can help:
Donate Items! Bring your unused or superfluous items to room 133 on Sundays, or when the church is open during the week. (All items need to be clean, in good working condition and have all their parts.)
Help make this the best sale ever!
-Donate Time (a little or a lot, it all helps!):
-Sort donations each Wednesday. General sorting takes place from 9:30 am to noon; book sorting is from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.
-Hand out or mail postcards about the sale to your friends and neighbors. Cards are available in the office and in the narthex on Sundays.
-Divide and pot up healthy perennials for the plant department.
-Make frozen soup, cookies, or other baked goods to be sold at the bakery.
-Bake pies and make soup for Friday lunch.
-Volunteer to help during the sale or with clean up afterwards.
Sign up at the Superfluity Table in the Narthex on Sundays during the month of March. Or email Mary Sue Galvin at gro.ccucu@ytiulfrepus.
