Sacred Earth Matters is hosting a gathering on Sunday, Feb. 2 to activate our thinking about plastics. Our guest speaker will be Elisabeth Archer, from Zero Waste Washington. She is a life-long environmentalist who decided to focus her energy on the plastics crisis after she completed an Environmental Fellowship in 2017, working to engage communities to end their reliance on single-use plastics and promote the use of durables.
Plastics are an essential part of our everyday life. Elizabeth will lead us in a discussion about how we can reduce our consumption of non-essential plastics and thus reduce their impact on the environment.
Place and time: Ostrander Hall, Feb. 2, 11:30
